Solemn Whisper: “Listen to What the Spirit Says” By Peace Harrison

Memory Verse: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the Churches” (Rev 3:6 KJV)

The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Trinity.  “He is fully God”. He is eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, has a will, and can speak.  He is alive.  He is a person.  He is not particularly visible in the Bible because His ministry is to bear witness of Jesus (John 15:26).The truth is that the Holy Spirit is a person the same as the Father and the Son are within the Trinity.

Solemn Whisper:

We can hear from God through the Holy Spirit by:
– Reading & studying the Word of God

– Praying Efficiently

– Listening attentively to what the spirit might be saying

The Word of God reveals whom God is. It is one of the necessary ingredients for hearing from the Holy Spirit. We need to spend time reading and studying the Word of God to learn about Him.

While reading God’s Word is how we find out about God, and it opens the eyes of our hearts to receive from God, PRAYER is how we have a personal relationship with God. The more you pray, the closer you will get to God.

Now, when you listen and the Holy Spirit speaks to you, you will know it’s God because you will have learned His character and personality from His Word.

PRAYER: our Father, we thank you for always speaking to me. Lord, help me to hear you and do whatever your word tells me. This is my request in Jesus’ Name.
