Maurice Griffin, is a world-traveling American independent gospel artist and psalmist originally from Chicago, Illinois but now resides in Houston, TX.

Maurice began singing at the young age of 5. With his many years of experience, he has learned how to adapt to any culture/genre while still remaining true to his roots of being a genuine worshiper. Maurice’s one and only goal as worship leader/artist is to bring in the presence of Jesus Christ and set an atmosphere of praise and worship.

Since first appearing on BET Sunday’s Best Maurice has released 3 independent CD projects with Judah, Griffin’s new single from his forthcoming project now available on all digital media. The complete recording of his 4th project is set to be released in late 2018. This project will feature Maurice as God used him in his live recording along with many featured guests. Maurice has been blessed to receive a stellar award nomination as new artist of the year, the Dorinda Clark-Cole’s Best Male Vocalist of the Year Winner, and Gospel Music Workshop of America’s Gospel Treasurer Winner. Every day he lives his life by faith and is working to create a legacy to inspire the next generation of millennials. Maurice Griffin is working to become the next big gospel music mogul like his idols Reverend James Cleveland, Richard Smallwood, Kirk Franklin. Like any great businessman Maurice has taken ownership of his career by being self-managed and building his brand thru the use of social media and traveling world.
